The way that the Tiens Compensation Plan is calculated is based on "Business Value" or BV. One BV is equivalent to $1USD.
As you progress through the ranks as an Independent Consultant, your compensation for sales volume will be calculated based on this formula. This is excellent news in India, as the exchange rate is working in your favour.
Passive income, on the other hand, is permanent income. In this type of business you can take an overseas vacation and return to find that your business has actually grown.
Residual or passive income is only enjoyed by a relatively few occupations: authors, songwriters, movie stars, inventors ... and those who have developed a successful network marketing business.
Passive income is where you are paid over and over again, throughout your lifetime, for something you did only once. Think of it like a royalty payment. So, as long as your organisation is ordering product from Tiens, you will receive the bonuses on those sales, even if you haven't been personally responsible for making the sale.
This is the greatest advantage of Network Marketing. It is not just your personal sales that produce income, but the combined purchases and sales of those you have introduced to the business, and who they have introduced, and so on.
plans.
As an Independent Consultant of Tiens, you are entitled to purchase products at a wholesale rate. You are then free to retail product to your customers with the difference between the wholesale and retail prices being entirely your profit.
A Preferred Customer is someone who is only interested in consuming or using the product and is not interested in becoming an Independent Consultant. They are entitled to purchase product at the wholesale rate, but they are not eligible to receive bonuses. The Business Value (BV), which is generated, goes to the Independent Consultant who sponsored them.
A Direct Bonus is what you as an Independent Consultant earn from your personally sponsored frontline starting at the 2-star level. As you advance in rank, you receive a corresponding increase in your Direct Bonus percentage until you reach a maximum 40%. This also applies to your personal purchases where you receive a rebate payment as a Direct Bonus.
The Indirect Bonus is calculated on the BV of your entire down-line. It is based on a sliding scale of 4% increments and the percentage varies depending on your ranking and the ranking of your down-line members. As your business develops, this bonus alone can produce substantial income.
The Leadership Bonus is earned on the entire down-line organisation of an Independent Consultant with the same ranking as you. As your ranking increases, so the Leadership Bonus payments increase. This bonus is paid from the 5-star to 8-star level and from your first generation to your fifth generation down-line.
Turnover
The Honoured Title Bonus is like a profit-sharing plan, only it is paid on sales revenue and not just profit. Tiens puts aside 5% of worldwide sales in a pool for those who qualify for the Honoured Title Bonus. You qualify when you become an 8-star Independent Consultant with two 8-star legs in your down-line and a minimum GBV of 2,500.
Yacht, Plane, Luxury Home)
Special Awards are offered to Independent Consultants who achieve the highest levels of the Compensation Plan. An Independent Consultant who achieves the Honoured Title Bonus for six months (including three consecutive months), will be awarded with the following: The Bronze Lion will win a FREE TRIP, the Silver Lion a PRESTIGE CAR the Gold Lion and 1-4 star Gold Lion a YACHT, the 5 star Gold Lion a PLANE, and the Honoured Director a LUXURY HOME. Each of these awards can be earned as the BV accumulates and increases. Once you have been awarded these prizes they are yours outright. There is no future qualifying required to keep the awards.
The Auto-ship Bonus is paid on all Auto-ship purchases in your down-line to seven levels deep. Up to 40% of the Autoship BV is paid to qualifying Independent Consultants. The benefit of Autoship with the 50BV minimum purchase is two-fold. It ensures that 1) you and your customers never run out of your favourite products and 2) you qualify for bonus payments.

Technology Input of Tianshi Group
- To meet the requirement of the strategic development of Tianshi Group, the Technology Center implemented a series of measures throughout the whole company. First, they reformed and improved the former technology research and development system, the quality control system, and the information system. Second, they renovated the inspection instruments, the manufacturing equipment, and the laboratories. Lastly, they introduced a large number of advanced instruments and equipment from abroad and updated the hardware system to compete with the highest Industry Standards. Due to these wise decisions and enhanced resources, these improvement measures have provided Tianshi Group with considerable economic returns.
- A well-structured organization of enterprise resources is the basis for efficient operation and the indispensable condition for sustained development. With the leadership of our president, Tianshi Group carried out a thorough restructuring of the company's organization by hiring AMT and Hande to implement the ERP. Now Tianshi Group has come up with four major focuses of operation: international logistics, international media and communications, international financial investment and international sales and marketing. The technology center, the manufacturing center, and the pharmacy company all belong to the international logistics operation. The technology center is responsible for technology research and development as well as technology reform of the whole group. This new structure will greatly streamline the workflow and improve efficiency.
- In September of 2002 Tianshi Group passed the ISO9001: 2000 Quality Management System Certification. This shows that all procedures are running steadily, orderly and efficiently. Moreover, Tianshi Group has also invested a great deal in the construction of the network information system. They contracted with a network company to establish the groups LAN to develop the website, and to implement the ERP system.
- Tianshi Group has always attached great importance to the construction of their network information system. Faced with the challenges from Chinese entry into WTO and the development of “Interactive Philosophy” strategy, Tianshi Group continued to invest in information technology in 2002 and to improve the information resources through capital, specialists and management. The total input includes over RMB 4 million, 3 Private Leased Line and 250 computers. The major advancements made within the information system constructions includes the following: first, we updated the office automation systems to Office XP and Windows XP, in addition we carried out distant learning and established intelligent digital telephone systems. Second, we registered domain names in 21 areas of Europe and established five websites for the Group; these include North American, South American Area, Europe, and Global. Meanwhile, we also established the office automation systems and internal electric system in all of our branches and subsidiaries. We are now planning an integral global website for e-commerce, customers/members relationship management, and enterprise resource management. We will carry out the market strategy covering all the 168 countries and areas during 2003.
- The construction of network information systems and the streamlining of information communication will help the company to develop the right products to meet the markets demands in a timely manner.
- Tianshi Group has also invested a lot of resources to provide our laboratories and workshops with all the necessary equipment and spaces. Currently all three workshops have reached the standard of 100,000 order of cleanness. Most of the machinery in the workshops are imported and worth more than RMB 2.5 million. The laboratories also have equipment and instruments worth more than RMB 2 million.
- In 2001 the technology center completed the construction of its main building with an area of more than 2,000 square meters. The decoration of the building and the installment and testing of the equipment were almost finished. The whole facility was put into use in August of 2002 and has greatly increased the research and development of the technology center. The technology center has purchased a lot of advanced experiment equipment and instruments worth about RMB 1 million in 2002. This advanced equipment and the excellent experiment environment will ensure the quality and efficiency of research and development activities.
- As for the human resources management department, it has recruited a lot of experts and specialists. Meanwhile, it has also come up with a series of incentive measures to motivate and recruit talented employees. Up until 2002 the technology center had 18 employees including 3 experts and doctors, one senior ranking engineer and 3 intermediate ranking engineers. In 2003 the technology center hired another 25 talented individuals including 7 senior specialists and 18 intermediate specialists to meet the fast changing market demand.
- Tianshi Group still emphasizes the development of internal research strength while cooperating with outside research institutes in research projects. Now Tianshi Group possesses 2 patents and internally developed products account for more than 90% of the total products.
- Advanced products are the basis for the sustained development of the company. Now Tianshi Group has set up more than 100 branches and subsidiaries in over 100 countries and areas and the product sales maintain a very good momentum. To work toward the globalization strategy and to meet the market demands for different products, Tianshi Group has input a lot of capital and human resources in the products research and development department. Now Tianshi has developed several new health and cosmetic products among which 23 health products have been approved with health product certificates from the National Ministry of Health and another two are in the process of being approved. We also have several new detergent and cosmetic products in production. At present, Tianshi Group has more than 60 types of products in production and sales, including health products, food, detergent, daily chemical products and cosmetics.
- Tianshi Group has also made great progress in the reform and improvement of current products. For instance, the Tianshi Beautiful Dream Drink and Tianshi Clearing Throat Granular Drink were very high in deficiency rate because they were extracted from various Chinese herbal medicine and the high portion of heavy metal in the herb made the quality of the extractor very unstable. It resulted in an amount of great waste during production. To overcome this problem, technicians did a lot of experiments to improve the extraction process and finally managed to maintain the heavy metal portion into a lower level. Now the quality of these products is quite stable and this new technology has brought a return of RMB 4,752,000. This is another good example that technology will lead to the development of the enterprise.

The basic concept of nutrition
-
Nutrition: The process by which the human body assimilates and utilizes food or nutrients, and also the physiological process by which man takes in food to meet the organism's physiological needs.
-
Proper nutrition: A reasonable diet and the healthy cooking and processing of food, which provides the human body with a sufficient amount of thermal energy and various nutrients, while keeping the balance among all the nutrients, so as to meet the body's normal physiological needs and keep the body healthy.
- Nutrients: In order to maintain normal physiological functions and meet the body's needs for normal growth, metabolism and work, humans must take in the necessary nutrients daily. These nutrients are divided into seven categories: proteins, vitamins, minerals, fats, sugars, water, and cellulose.
Nutrition and health
-
Man considers food to be of vital importance. Throughout the course of life, nutrition is the basic element that maintains life and provides cells with necessary energy so that various tissues and organs can take coordinated actions. Human life is like a small tree, which needs constant watering, fertilizing, and cultivating to be able to grow with vigor. Such is the importance of nutrition to human life. In the course of supplementing nutrition, only balanced nutrition can prevent the body from having an imbalance of yin and yang, which leads to disease. Nutritional supplementation should be reasonable and scientific. When one falls ill, one gets treatment; when one is healthy, one guards against disease. Therefore, disease prevention is the primary issue in maintaining health. Sound and balanced nutrition and improved lifestyle can adjust and increase the body's immunity. “Cherish life by preserving health.” An active healthcare regimen, based on disease prevention, obtains health from nutrition, thus raising the quality of life. -
Undernourishment, overeating and unbalanced nutrition are major manifestations of malnutrition, which directly affects ones health. One must eat appropriately to live a healthy life. Health needs life-long cultivation. Nutritional supplementation mainly comes from external sources, that is, food. However, there are many types of eating: 1. Eating for survive; 2. Satiating one's appetite; 3. Balancing nutrition, i.e., eating with control what one likes and eating conscientiously what one dislikes. The key points in eating habits are moderation, vegetables, not eating over cooked foods, eating slowly, light taste, freshness; variety, coldness, separation, advance, and abstinence. Only then can one have a healthy body and live life in its truest sense.
TIENS is derived from the Chinese spelling Tianshi. "Health and wealth" constitute the theme of TIENS' international expansion in the future, which marks Tianshi Group's shift toward a global orientation and diversification at the turn of the new century. The design of the logo is centered on the dynamic arc, which represents the high-tech theme, conveys a sense of unlimited possibilities with its interactive structure, and symbolizes the brand TIENS' unabated energy and unceasing development. Among the colors of the logo, green represents health, growth, harvest and environmental protection, which ensures the sustainable growth of Tianshi's operations; yellow means wealth and hope, which serves as the financial support of the company's global venture; black suggests Tianshi's strength and steadiness.
"Shi" means lion. Over the centuries, the city of Cangzhou has been famous for its ancient iron sculpture of a lion, which has become a symbol of the city, and has been given the nickname of "Lion City". Mr. Li Jinyuan, Tianshi's president, reminded of the iron lion of his hometown, chose the word "lion," which also denotes the sleeping lion, the awakening lion, Leo, etc. In 1993, Mr. Li Jinyuan came to Tianjin to start his business. "Tian" means Universe or Heaven, which is associated with heaven's will, favorable geographical position, and popular support. Hence the company was named Tianshi (Heaven Lion). The lion represents Mr. Li Jinyuan's fond memories of his hometown. The wings suggest Tianshi Group's soaring aspirations and youthful vigor. Business goal: Making a good life by sharing Tianshi's success.

The Traditional Chinese Secret for Maintaining Health
With a history dating back several thousand years, the traditional Chinese health regimen incorporates elements of natural science, human studies, and social science. It distils the experiences of health-preservation from generations of Chinese, and distinguishes itself among traditional regimens throughout the world with its unique theoretical foundation and rich clinical experiences. It has contributed greatly to the well-being and health care of the Chinese people.
Like any other organism, human beings are not above the natural laws of birth, growth, ageing and death. However, efforts can be made to promote growth, improve the physique, and delay the aging process so as to prevent premature death. The key is pro active prevention and timely treatment. According to material by Huang Di Nei Jing written as early as the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, "A sage cures a disease before it occurs and deals with a disorder before it happens? In other words, a healthy person should take measures to prevent disease, and if one gets ill, he/she should get treatment as soon as possible to thwart the development of the illness. A person who is good at maintaining health often treats hidden damage that may lead to disease and gets rid of all risk factors lurking inside and outside the body.
Chinese medicine emphasizes the unity of man and nature as well as that of all the tissues of the body system. Based on the concepts of Yin, Yang, the five elements, and "man-universe harmony", it views the human body as "being able to resist the harmful qi (pronounced chi)". Harmful qi is essentially any external element that causes disease, i.e. bacteria or environmental toxins. When the vital qi is inside the body (when the body's systems are in balance and immunity is high)" and "inevitably weak where the harmful qi dominates (unable to fight off disease)". Emphasis is put on the principles of disease prevention, which allows for a flexible approach in regards to a patient's prevention program. Conclusions regarding the body's internal condition are reached from observing and analyzing the outward appearance of each individual. Thus, Chinese medicine is committed to exploring the secrets of life.
The role of Cleansing, Replenishing, Strengthening and Balancing in the traditional Chinese regimen
As the basis of longevity, health means the absence of harmful matter and factors inside the body. Nowadays, people can be divided into three categories: the healthy, accounting for 5% of all people, the sick, 15%, and the predominately sub-healthy, approximately 80%. The sub-healthy are in a dangerous state characterized by the constant presence of hidden damage, which has yet to cause significant inconveniences. Such people need to CLEANSE the spleen, stomach and intestines, REPLENISH qi, the blood, Yin and Yang and STRENGTHEN nutrition that is deficient so as to reach the health care goal of BALANCING.
The human body is an organic whole, where an imbalance between Yin and Yang will lead to the malfunctioning of the internal organs. When one organ gets damaged, all the others are affected, which results in an imbalance in the human body. Therefore, unfavourable factors should be removed from the body beforehand by restoring balance and strengthening nutrition. As stated above, "the body is able to resist the harmful qi when the vital qi is inside." When the harmful qi enters the body, the vital qi actively combats it; the subsequent struggle disturbs the balance between Yin and Yang in the body or causes the internal organs to malfunction, which results in the operational disorder of qi and blood reflected by a series of pathological changes. If the vital qi prevails and the harmful qi recedes, the disease tends to improve and be cured. If the vital qi is weak and the harmful qi dominates, the disease tends to worsen and even leads to illness and death.
Maintaining good health and "man-universe harmony"
The above shows how important it is for people to preserve their health on a daily basis. Usually, when one does not have any diseases, he/she easily overlooks the pathological factors hidden in the body and considers himself/herself to be healthy. However, "a huge dam can be ultimately destroyed by seemingly insignificant ant holes". The body is like that dam, which can only be saved from harm by ridding itself of latent risks beforehand. However, people often only begin to act after they are diagnosed with a disease. As the saying goes, "A three-foot-thick layer of ice is not caused by one day of wintery rigor." In order to have health that is as strong as ice, one must pay attention to health preservation at regular intervals. Thus one can easily fend off the onslaught of epidemics. How should a person conserve ones health? Everyone needs to understand that because man lives in nature and depends on the interactions of Yin, Yang and the five elements for his balance with nature, adjustments should be made according to differences in season, region and time zones which meet the individual conditions of the patient. Only in this way can "man-universe harmony" be realized.
Yin, Yang, and the five elements; the contradictory unity of nature
The human body is an integral whole. Nothing can exist without Yin and Yang. As the saying goes, "a single Yin does not grow; a lone Yang does not survive". The world is actually integrated as a result of the contradictory unity of Yin and Yang. Yin and Yang represent the properties of matter that are both contradictory and related. Neither man nor nature is separable from the five elements - metal, wood, water, fire and earth. The property of wood is Yang because it grows and connects.
Water is a property of Yin because it flows downward. Fire is attributed to Yang because it goes upward. But Yin and Yang are intermingled. For example, the surface of water is Yang but its bottom is Yin. This explains the integral concept of the contradictory unity of Yin, Yang and the five elements, which interact with man and nature to form a balance of gain and loss by promoting and restricting each other. In a state of balance, for instance, the body's five internal organs (the liver, heart, spleen, lungs and kidneys) promote each other to make the body strong with a prolonged life. On the other hand, damage to any of the organs will affect all the rest.
Yin, Yang, the five elements and the processes of Cleansing, Replenishing, Strengthening and Balancing
The so-called five elements in traditional Chinese medicine, wood, fire, earth, metal and water, are the fundamental building blocks of the world. They correspond to spring, summer, middle (long summer), autumn and winter in nature and the liver, heart, spleen, lungs and kidneys in the human body. Accordingly, we should take the corresponding actions of cleansing in spring, replenishing in summer, strengthening in autumn and balancing in winter to achieve balance among the body, ecology and nature. In today's world, environmental pollution is severe, which inevitably results in harmful substances being contained in our food. When these harmful substances encroach on the body, the first organs affected are the spleen and stomach, which are responsible for digestion and assimilation. They are also the fundamental organs of postnatal development and the source of qi and blood. Furthermore, the extent of damage to the spleen and stomach determines the sufficiency of innate vitality (qi from the kidneys). Energy required by the body is sent all over the body after digestion and assimilation by the spleen and stomach and then adjusts qi and blood in the liver and lungs and supplements vitality in the kidneys, thus preventing the onset of disease. When one uses health care products, one should take into consideration the seasonal influences of climatic changes instead of using them indiscriminately.
